Here's the story from Marc's point of view
Catherine and I had a wonderful time in Nice. She showed me around, took me to the water fall,
to the promenade, to the Negresco, all lovely places but it was hard to execute my romantic plans in these locations.
On Friday we drove to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and went to Villa Rothschild.
We parked the car and walked through the wonderful flower garden. Breathtaking views.
When we got to the love temple I just told her to "wait here". I left and dashed back to the car
(she was thinking I went to the bathroom). This time I was prepared and had hidden a big
bouquet of red roses, a bottle of Champagne, and the ring from Tiffany in the trunk.
I rushed back with roses and bottle in hand, ring in my pocket, to the love temple and
luckily she was still waiting in the same place. She was definitely surprised! I handed
her the bouquet and got on one knee. I had to concentrate to remember the words I had
prepared but it went well. I got out the blue Tiffany box with the ring and presented
it to her with the words " Will you marry me? " She was soooo happy and said YES!
We opened the Champagne, no glasses, so we drank it directly out of the bottle. So fun.
It started to rain but we didn't care. To round off the day, we drove over to Monaco and went to the Fun Park!
In the evening we had dinner in Nice. A perfect day, don't you think so?

Our wedding will be May 16, 2009!
